Yosminda Bassett has faithfully served in ministry for many years alongside her husband, whom she married in 1993 after they began dating as high school sweethearts. Together they have three adult children and have remained committed to serving God throughout their marriage. Raised in the church by her pastors and founders,Bishop and Overseer James and Shirley Taite, she and her three younger sisters all answered the call to ministry.
A dedicated educator for more than 25 years, Yosminda retired from teaching K–12 special education in 2022 and now serves as an adjunct instructor at a local community college and Gateway Global Bible College. Since 2016, she has served as the Support Facilitator and Liaison for the outreach ministries of Gateway to Heaven Church. In addition to teaching and outreach, she enjoys glorifying God through music by playing the saxophone and mentoring aspiring musicians in keyboard, vocals, drums, and woodwind instruments
